Current one was on its last legs for a while and has finally given out. As far as I'm aware, the likes of DID, Harvey Norman and Power City are closed. Anywhere else I could get one?

Power City are delivering. I bought a fridge today. DID are too. Next week is all that’s available though.

Most of the electrical stores online are open.
Mine went 3 months ago still have not replaced it. All I really used it was was to heat food and milk.

You both deserve to be dragged over hot coals.

    And why would that be?

There are a lot of people living alone who get ready meals and simple foods that need a microwave

I am just back from tesco in the square. While I did not buy a microwave, I did shop for an 82 year old cocooning on a mountain.

Thanks for the offer but it seems as though there are plenty of other ways I can get my hands on one. Have a big Tesco Extra and two Lidl's close by, I'm sure I'll manage to get one. ;)

You took me up wrong. It was for saying “Lidls and Tescos”. Just a bit of lightheartedness. I know what people are going through of course!
