Pointless broadcast schedule updates (no content discussion)

As the usual Pointless slot (5:15 to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri) on BBC 1 has been taken over by the daily UK Govt. update on the coronavirus, I thought I'd start this thread so people can keep track of when and where the program is being broadcast. Let's also use this thread to alert people about series changes so we can update our recorders.

There is a separate and (when the program is being broadcast) very active thread covering content, please continue to use that thread for that purpose.

You can currently catch Pointless on BBC2 (NI and HD) at the same time on weekdays but to record it on Virgin Media, you have to record (one-off or series) 'Flog It!', a low-budget auction program. The VM TV guide (on your actual TV) is currently unreliable as for example, they're saying that the BBC1 slot at 5:15 p.m. will cover the Govt press briefing today (Thu.) but that Pointless will be shown at 5:15 on BBC1 tomorrow (Fri.) which is unlikely.

Probably to cater for people who want to do a series record of Pointless and avoid all the confusion, BBC2 will start broadcasting Pointless at 7:15 a.m. on BBC2 NI and BBC HD beginning next Monday April 13th. That early morning program will be the one shown at the normal time on the previous weekday.

    Some useful links....

The main BBC channels on VM are BBC1 NI HD (108), BBC2 NI (109) and BBC2 HD (140)

BBC Pointless page, check out 'upcoming episodes' .The 'available episodes' (to view using the BBC iPlayer) are geoblocked for ROI users.

According to the page below and also the BBC Schedules - Pointless is at 5.15pm BBC1 tomorrow.
So they are in agreement with the VM TV Guide.

Tomorrow is Good Friday so maybe the Govt. briefing won't happen but I'm still going to record 'Flog it!' on BBC2 today and tomorrow.

And if the Govt. press briefing does happen tomorrow and you end up with a useless recording, that episode of Pointless (S23 E4) will be shown in the new repeat slot on BBC2 at 7:15 a.m. next Monday.
