Tesco returns

Would anyone know what tesco are like with returning electric items (hairclipper), their website mentions it has to go direct to manufacturer but not sure if its uk or ireland. Unit is faulty on runtime advertised by at least 50% and it rubbish workwise. I dont have the box but do have receipt
