Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    H Guys,

I am looking to buy a DA polisher, pads, and polishes for home use.I intend on using the kit 2-3 times a year. I want to but a decent DA polisher. Any recommendations of what to but or where i could get advise? I was thinking of Reflect Autocare but there are so many products it is hard to choose. I have been on Youtube and again so many options.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, that's what i am looking for, a complete kit. Do you know if you can change the 150mm backing plate for a smaller one?

    Give Imran a call > https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/2007/s/in2detailing-da8-dual-action-machine-polisher-in2200327779/category/136/

Get some Hex green pads and a bottle of Scholl S20 polish, that should get you started,

Is that the one you got vectra ?. The grip looks very nice on that. I wonder is the speed dial underneath the power cable a bit of a hindrance to change on the fly. Looks like a good price on it.

    No,
I got the older one that looks like a das6 pro,
This is an updated version as far as I am aware.
Look Imran up on Facebook and ask him, he is very swift to reply.

Not on Facebook but already have a das 6 pro plus which is great but doesn't take 3 inch plates. I was half thinking of getting that other machine as a mini polisher as it takes 3 inch pads but i think ill just go with a dedicated mini polisher instead.

The Pro Plus is a 21mm throw as far as I am aware.
    That one is only 8mm.

    *edit*
Just spotted this mini one. https://www.chemicalguys.eu/no-swirls-krauss-s75-mini-da-orbital-polisher.html?___store=default

I suppose looking at that one I linked to, it is a bit pricey for what it is,
Maybe buy a normal das6 pro and stick a 3" backing plate on it?

Friend of mine bought a 600w Duren DA polisher on ebay during the week and it came with 6'' 5'' and 3'' backing plates and pads as part of the deal. Think it was €115 for the whole kit.
