Has anyone ever made their own?

I've a few projects to do and was think about hanging a clothes line off the side of the house but it's vital that I cover it as we live in rainy Donegal.

I've looking into purchasing one but the costs for a decent one seems to be up around €600 or so.

I'm half way through making one of those but had to call a halt as I cant get steel to finish it.

Wasnt going to put a canopy on it though.

But I suppose you could frame up something with some waterproof membrane or similar.

You could finish it off with some canvas/material to take the bad look off it.

If you fitted something like this to an outside wall it wouldn't take much to build q cover over it to enclose it.
