Heavy.Non selectable which barrel you can fire like a std double . Really a solution for a problem no one has thought of yet. Unless you are a knickerbocker & tweedy type who wouldnt be seen dead with a pump or semi auto, and wants that 3rd shot?

3.9kg - about 8.5 lbs so would be heavy and cumbersome to carry around all day on a long walk.

I don't like the look of it - looks bulky and clumsy.

Like you say Grizzly - no problem exists that requires one of these.

The only advantage I can see that it could have over a semi or pump is that each shot could have a different choke...but as Grizzly said ...not having a selectable trigger defeats that advantage.

The nice thing about single and double barrel guns, is they are nice and light in the handling department, well balanced, sits nicely in the hands and swings well. That thing is a novelty, would handle like a drunken donkey, be very nose heavy, and be heavy over all.

The sort of gun that if you did buy it, 2 or 3 months later you would be asking yourself, what the hell was i thinking.

Just wondering how you explain the need for one of them on a licence application!!!

Unrestricted 3shot shotgun. No especial reason to need. Unless you get the short barrelled version[Triple threat] with the removable buttstock which has a barrel length of 18.5 ins.Which would be a restricted firearm, and even more impractical.

I'd have it in a .410 all day just for fun

I remember something of tripple barrel shotguns from some old gun encyclopedia I used to have, done a google and came across the below.

Thre even was a 4 barrel contraption in a pepperbox configuration as well. But they all have the same problem, unless you want to pay bespoke prices of being non selective triggers.Ferlach,Austria can build them, and have built them in the "drilling" configuration IOW turn the triple crowns barrel package upside down so it looks more like a conventional SXS.But be prepared to pay the price of a decent mid level Merc for it.

As it was said above, that thing looks like the solution to a nonexistent problem.

If they were cheaper, a lot cheaper, you could nearly be tempted to buy one and hold on to it for a while to satisfy your curiosity but other than that ? I don’t think I could be bothered.

Ah Feck it!!! Here's a much simpler way of getting 4 shots with your bespoke pair of double shotguns:D.

Or if you have to deal with a load of undead dwarves in the Coronavirus epidemic. At least you can choose which barrel you want to fire.
