    Hi does anyone know if DOT Shannon is still open and processing change of ownership .

    Seems to be, no notice on the website to indicate any delays.

    Cheers was wondering if I sent it away would it just sit in a letterbox somewhere for weeks while some one drives around in a car still registered to me .

    If you have a look on the change of ownership section and put in your reg it will show up when they receive it for change of ownership. Usually the day they receive it they process it and it will show up the following day on the website as being received.
