Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Men's Shoe Width Size - UK Fittings F and G.

    Hi all,

Question for you. I am looking to buy a couple of pairs of Leather Shoes online in the UK. From some of the traditional English shoe makers. On most of their websites, under fitting, the only mention they make towards width, is something along the lines of:

F fits most men perfectly or F is medium or narrow.
G is slightly roomier than F and fits most men or G is wider fitting.

I'm looking for a chart that would allow me to guage my foot measurements against the F and G fittings to see which would be appropriate.
I'm a size 12 shoe and I have measured the circumference of my foot around the bottom of the little toe straight across to the other side. This gives me 27cm.

The charts I have found work on different fitting sizes, like EEEEE = very very wide, etc or only measure the width of the foot in a liner term.

Any and all help would be much appreciated!
