New shape Coca-Cola cans - crap

So Coca-Cola have introduced their new taller slimmer cans.

    The reasons are
    1. Takes up less shelf space in shops and also in domestic fridges

    2. Due to the surface area of the thin aluminum being substantially larger than before, it cools a lot quicker.

But they didn't think this through - the larger surface area of the thin aluminum means it loses its ice coldness an awful lot quicker than previously.

And warm cola tastes like sh1te

Also seems to taste a little different - but that is probably just my own thought or the fact it is not ice cold after a few minutes.

    Don't like them.

Ps, just trying to create some threads that don't mention CV!

Considering the damaging affects of coke itself , the shape of the can is the least offensive thing about the product.

Just ten spoonfuls of sugar help the medicine go down.

I don't think heat transfer works like that.

Donald Trump asked Coca Cola to make the cans this way, he couldn’t grip the wider cans properly.

I would have thought his pussy grabbing skills would easily translate to canned beverage grabbing.

That's one of the official reasons given in a grocery magazine article. The larger surface thin aluminum allows for quicker cooling.

That won't cause faster heating though.

There is more surface area, more area to interact with warmth, why wouldn't it cause it to warm up quicker?

    Heating is slower than cooling.

They're easier to shove up places though

I was completely against them when they first came out. Now, after a few weeks, I like them. They definitely cool quicker, and I personally think I touch less of the can so won't accidentally warm them up as quick as the older ones, instead of grabbing the can with my hand, I'm nearly just using fingers, so only my fingertips touch. Anyway, who has a can last long enough for it to get warm to begin with?

The only downside to them is the car cup holders. Will have to look into something to hold them properly, not so much an issue right now, as not going anywhere in the car much these days.

False. Bigger the difference in temperatures the quicker the change in temperature.

It matters nothing to me the shape. Bar loose in cup holders.

Bar that you need bigger problems in your life if that's a big issue
