online passport

    trying to renew my Irish passport. I am Irish, born in Ireland etc

    it expired at start of march, no major rush on this obviously. but just looking to get it done.

    from the website, it says this:

    "While you can still apply for your passport using Passport Online, we cannot guarantee the usual turnaround times. Online applications that require the posting of supporting documents to your nearest Embassy or Consulate should not be posted at this time."

    However, no matter what I do I cannot get to the application form, when I click on 'apply online' keeps bring me to the above message

    Have they stopped online application?

    I tried it just there when I read your post and it seems to be working for me. I was able to go through a few of the quick questions, I went as far as doing the photo?

    Could you try on a different browser? I used chrome

    Sorry can’t be more helpful

    When I did it I scrolled down below the big long message and I clicked the link that said ‘find out more information’ I’ve attached a photo.

    On the next page again scroll down past the long message and past the faq until you see ‘ I’m ready to apply for my passport’
