Ant Spray/Bait Trap/Granules

Over the last few days we've been getting more and more ants coming into the house to the point where we need to do something about it. It started with one or two here and there, then there were maybe 6 or 7 in the dining room when we woke up one morning, now there's always a few in the bathroom every time I go in there. We think they're coming from the cavity of the house as there's nothing obvious outside. I'm spraying them with a vinegar/bleach/water spray I made at the moment which kills them, but it now definitely needs to be sorted as it's not going anywhere.

I bought some ant killer granules on Amazon, but it won't be here until Wednesday and it's getting worse. Is there anywhere open that I could get something similar?

The most effective ones I got where from the DIY store. Boland's in this case. The bait traps are the best. They enter take bare bring it back to the nest and then more come and do the same as theyve found a reliable food source. This destroyed the nest within days.

That's exactly what I'm looking for alright, but a bit restricted as hardware stores are closed. Would anywhere else stock these?

I had a fairly large infestation a few years back. Traps did no good but putting down ant powder at suspected entry points did the trick within a few days

We have a couple of fairly bad places at the back of our house where they have built nests under paving slabs, and I think also in the wall of our conservatory. I have tried the bait traps but have had no success at all with them, no effect whatsoever. Only thing that helps is liberal spraying of the area where they enter and exit with ant spray.

OK we're on the right track so - I ordered some Ant Stop! granuals from Amazon and they'll be here Tuesday. In the meantime I was able to pick up some bate traps in the chemist and they've been down since last night. Will leave them in both places for a few nights and then put down granuals when the come if they're still around at that stage.
