I am trying to charge my a7iii using the micro usb charge adaptor that came with the camera. The charge lamp is not lighting up and the battery is displaying empty on the lcd screen. The camera still powers on despite this and operates. Is this a faulty usb, expired battery or faulty camera issue? The settings are set to…

The settings are set to charge mode rather than usb mode to save you asking this. Thanks.

A7iii ports are notoriously shoddy. I'd highly suggest just buying a charger for the Z battery
