With this shutdown in place how is everyone keeping themselves occupied with relation to MTBs?

    Trackstands, wheelies, manuals and bunnyhops.
General maintenance and upgrading some parts.

Just reading articles watching old clips I like etc. I dont have proper storage for bikes where i live so dont keep them here, before the lockdown I picked up my road bike and my training rollers to spin the legs. Gives me a chance to do a few laps within my 2km also

I'm pretty lucky in that I have some local trails within my 2km area, so trying to get down to them every few days. I've also started doing a bit of running just to keep the fitness up.

I'm trying to use the time to get a half hour stretching/ home exercise routine together. Also have got a out a couple of times to work on manuals/wheelies and bunny hops.
But lets be honest, its all tyre kicking, nothing beats getting on the trails :(

I'm fortunate in that I've got trails close by so they scratch an itch at least; I get out a few times a week; I'll do lunchtime rides to take a break from working from home (lucky in that respect too in that I can work from home and I still have work to do from home) keeping it to an hour round-trip, and I get out at the weekends too for a bit longer on the same trails when I do get out.

Even still, I'm not pushing it and riding well within the limits rather than on them or over lest I have an accident and strain an already strained healthcare system.

Yea I know a few people who live within 2k of some forestry trails, very fortunate!
Thankfully most injuries on a MTB would be from a fall, so cuts and bruises which you can patch up at home.

Unless you're unlucky enough to snap a collarbone!

Thankfully the A&E dept.'s are well under capacity as most people are avoiding hospitals with minor ailments which they previously would have attended a doctor or A&E with.

It's actually not forestry trails in my case although I do have forestry/woodland trust trails a little further out (7km cycle but about 4/5km as the crow flies as I'm not under 2km restriction - yet - being in the UK) but tbh; some of those particular trails escalate quite quickly. The trails I'm doing are a 2km blue loop (with some 'red' options) in a local urban park; also has a dual slalom track.
