It's a double week from now on every two weeks. On Monday I called the social welfare and asked could I change to the bank payment and I sent them on my details by email. I was supposed to collect it in the post office on the Tuesday. The lady emailed me back on Tuesday saying it's now changed over and I logged into mywelfare online and it's been processed. It hasn't gone into my bank yet though. Maybe it takes a good few days to do it. Hopefully by the end of the business day today!

I would imagine that the payment due this week had already been sent to the post office by the time you rang the office. I’d check the post office for this payment and the next one due in two weeks will be in bank account.

    Hi there

Thanks for your advice, that's exactly what happened. The social welfare said the payment is in the post office to be collected, and then from then on in it'll be transferred automatically every two weeks into the bank.

Dont know if any if any of you are using the welfare.ie on line site for covid19 payment but logged on today it now saids "No Active Claims" , before today it said Active Claims, WFP, guessing its because there will be no payment this week,
Can anyone confirm that they are getting same "No Active claims" on welfare.ie now.

That doesn't sound right. Mine looks like this, although I am due payment this week.

Yeah, that's what mine looked like but with WFP ,now saids No Active Claims,
im also expecting first covid19 emergency payment Tuesday, i though it might be because of getting 2 WFP this week and not getting a payment next week ,maybe not.

My feeling would be that something has gone wrong. If you can afford to I would wait to see if/how much you get paid. If you can't afford a delayed payment get on the phone to them in the morning.

I sent a email off last night to them and got reply this morning,
"I can see that your Pandemic Unemployment Payment has been processed on 04/04/2020"
just went back on line and all seems back to normal WFP back on active claim

Yes I emailed the DSP my bank account details including the sort code and IBAN. They emailed me back to confirm it will be going through that way from now on in. She said that it is the middle week the payments goes through for the two weeks. On April 14th it will go through for me covering this week and the week after.

Out of curiosity what email address did you send the info about bank details too.
    Cheers

I sent it to the Welfare Sligo email address. The lady on the phone asked me to send it to it. I just logged into my bank account details and my first electronic payment has gone in this morning.

I thought they stopped doing taht in 2012 because they claimed it was being abused and allowing people to live in the international jetset or some similar bleurgh.

Payment through the Post Office does at least help stop them from shutting down completely.

Maybe for JSA, but this is WFP and it’s not always easy to collect from post office if you work office hours.
