I woke this morning and noticed one of my spare rooms looks like its crying it an old bunglow 1975 and was painted about 2 months ago and looks like water got in and paint dropped down the walls. There is no sign of any leak have checked and the rooms is not cold could it to do with humidity as we dont have any vents.

Not sure if you have partly answered your own question?

    Sounds like condensation to me?

Is there a bathroom, with shower, possibly nearby....and....might doors have been left open when the shower was being used?

Hi no we don't use it atall just spare room for ironing clothes the wall is against the outside so no bathroom shower near it. It must be from not opening windows that's all I can think off

Not opening the windows, no vent and ironing. 3 big factors there.

Yeah, ironing clothes creates a fair bit of humidity/moisture in the air, so leaving the window open a bit, so air can circulate is a good idea. And I'd leave it open for any amount of time that you've anything wet or damp in the room, also.

Id recommend instead buying a humidity sensor for a tenner online. If it goes above 60% just open the window.
