Not sure but I'd say if it's not considered essential work then it will be postponed until the pandemic is over.

It's the old Clonee Road that's pedestrianised and riddled with teenage gangs and scumbags spraypainting all walls behind the creche and nearby estates. A few lorryloads of rocks in the ditch won't stop the little knackers spray painting cocks on the back wall of the creche, will it?

Slightly unrelated but didn't want to create a new thread but I see a new housing development plan has been submitted to the council for the plot of land just beyond Blackwood and the roundabout at end of the lane being discussed above in this thread that leads to Clonee(lands owned by Williamstown Stud).

Interestingly, the plan also includes a continuous new 1 kilometre + footpath and cycle lane from Ongar all the way to western end of Clonee village (Lidl end). It will also include a new roundabout for the dangerous junction where you turn off for Leixlip/Lucan. I'm really pleased to see this as it will open up new walking/running/cycling options in the area.

Clonee is just as near to Ongar as Clonsilla train station but just wasn't as accessible except for the longer route by Little Pace.

Fingal planning reference: RA/191224. No decision has been granted yet.

Sounds great. At the moment getting to Clonee from Ongar without a car is a bit miserable - a very long way to walk around and no public transport (technically you could do the trip with public transport, but not really).
