Triton Shower constantly dripping

    Hi there,

We've a Triton T90si shower and last night after using it I noticed that the shower head kept slowly dripping, and it's still doing it now. A quick google suggests a possible issue with the solenoid valve.

We're been meaning to replace the shower for a while too, looking to get the T90SR, and now we're wondering if this issue is the catalyst to get it replaced.

Anyone any idea how much it would cost to get it fixed, and how much it would cost to get a new one fitted? Are these services even still happening these days, or do we have to wait until things get a little back to normal? We're in Naas is anyone can recommend someone too.

    Thanks...

have you tried switching it on and off again, sometimes mine does this, also if fuse blew it will drip

Paudy is right. Turning it on & off or even just normal use for a few days might sort it out.

T90si is obsolete. 13 to 20 years old. New solenoid is 100 to 130 supplied & fitted depending on who you get to fit it. You will get the triton t90sr silent shower supplied & fitted for under 350 euros in Dublin. All trade counters & builder's suppliers are closed but a dedicated shower repair company should have these in stock

Thanks for your replies. It's being used again now, so we'll see what it does when its finished!

Reckon we'll look at a new shower if it keeps acting up, I've had it for what, 15 years so it owes us nothing.

Can anyone recommend a shower company they've had good experiences with? Thanks...
