Folks, have received my new TNTSat box plus card and am now trying to reorientate my 80cm dish. Without the proper equipment, could somebody please let me know how near to the exact orientation I need to get before my strength and quality readings will move off 0%? Both Lyngsat and TNT tell me I'm looking for 146E, 23degree elevation and -11degree LNB orientation. I've done my best manually, but still have both readings at 0%. Thanks.

That would be from 5 West?. I never did an installation but maybe this suggestion would help. BBC 1 NI on 10847 V on 28 East is 19.3 dB on my 1.1 m motorised dish in Dundalk. The strongest on 19 East is 12728 V 15.3 dB. It might be easier to get the dish aligned on 28, and then move it slightly for 19.

If you get 10847, then use 10773 H 22000 BBC 1 London which is weaker, to fine tune. If you then go to 19, there is a transponder with the same parameters. This video gives a guide on how to set up on 28, but it is probably hit and miss if you have no equipment. I read the thing to do is make very small movements of the dish, and leave it for a while each time to see if anything registers.
