    Hi all,

Looking to buy a new TV to make the COVID restrictions a bit easier!  I noticed the Philips model above (at stg £549) from browsing recent threads here and am interested in this.  A few questions though:

For around the same price, is their another set of the same size you would recommend instead (any brand)?

Could you recommend a reasonably priced soundbar?  In my existing set-up I have a Sony BDV-E3100.  It's not great at projecting voice but has bluetooth and good enough bass.  In my new set-up I plan on using the X-BOX One S as the BR/DVD player, so I'd look to connect the soundbar to the TV, the X-Box and also the Horizon TV box, so I need to be able to do that.  Open to clearance stock etc here if it'd get me a better model.

I'm also interested in a fully articulated wall mount.  Could you recommend one that you sell? This would have to connect to a party wall (semi-d).  Do the mounts come with the necessary screws for that, or do I need to get them separately?

Finally, while I still might buy just the TV, would you be able to do a deal on the TV bought with one or two of the other items?

    Thanks for your advice!

    Hi Patch123.

The 65PUS6754 is a fantastic set.
There would not be a better 65" set for the money in my opinion.

If you wanted to add in a full motion wall bracket their is the Sanus BMF220. This retails at £149 - I could offer at £100 if purchased along with the TV. Theses come with a selection of screws for mounting the bracket to a TV but I can't guarantee that it will have every size and length but should have the ones to fit the Philips.

For a soundbar it really depends on budget.

You could look at the Yamaha YAS207 priced at £249 - 5 star reviewed in What HiFi.

Or if you wanted something a little more smarter there is the Yamaha MusicCast Bar 400 coming in at £399

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Hi David,  many thanks.

Is that mount suitable for a 65in TV?
Also  - on either of those sound bar there's only one HDMI input; is that I'd route my 'boxes' through the TV first?  (apols for newbee question here!)

    Sorry Patch123.

You would need to go up to the Sanus BLF213 priced at £179. I could go to £110 along with the TV.

Yes, you would connect all your devices to the TV and then use the ARC HDMI to connect from TV to Soundbar.

Any questions please let me know.

Hi David,  thanks for that.  I'm nearly ready to place an order - 2 questions though:

    1. Is that mount really suitable for the TV?  On your website it says the TV is VESA 400 x 200, but for the mount it says that it's not suitable for that VESA pattern.

    2. How do I avail of the discount when ordering on the website, and do you accept Revolut VISA.

Many thanks for your help David.

    Hi Patch123.

I have checked and I see it says it will not do the 400x200. Strange as I just assumed it would have fitted as it fits pretty much ever TV that we stock.

If you wanted to 100% then the Sanus VLF728 retailing at £249. I could drop this to £155 along with the TV.
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-204142-sanus-vlf728-black-42-90-inch-cantilever-tv-bracket.aspx

Once you are ready to order we can either create you a personal link for the website to let you order online at the price agreed or you can drop me your contact number in a PM and I can give you a call to get soem details.

There is no issue using a Revolut card.
