Help with fixing kindle fire

Hi, So recently I’ve been having an issue with the screen of my kindle fire. The screen isn’t cracked on the outside but a section of the screen is completely black and has lines going through it , as if it is cracked on the inside. Otherwise the kindle is working fine , would I be able to fix it myself or will I have to…

Hi,
So recently I’ve been having an issue with the screen of my kindle fire. The screen isn’t cracked on the outside but a section of the screen is completely black and has lines going through it , as if it is cracked on the inside. Otherwise the kindle is working fine , would I be able to fix it myself or will I have to bring it somewhere ?
