    Iz this for real trying for 10 minutes to get this piece of **** player to work and watch the news without my kids being drenched in all the **** that's goin on . Every time same **** ..... im a mug I pay my ****ing licence , I don't listen to the ****in ghouls Duffy and tubridy because I love radio but whenever I need these cnuts they let me down ... that's the last ****in licence I buy. It's a really ****in important service not a ****in hobbie for one of tubridies nephews, cause he was ts to work in media...

    RTE player is f₩₩king me off as well, huge bunch of programmes no longer viewable due to restrictions..........��

    Its a disgrace, I mean how hard can it be? It doesn't work on laptop or mobile. Shower of idiots at RTE. My IPTV provider can illegally supply it working perfectly.

    It's been like that for years, the only thing that's reliable about it are the ads, there will never b any issue with those playing, then it crashes and you have to watch 5 mins of ads again to start over. It represents RTE perfectly if you ask me.

    The world's worst streaming service.

    In fairness to them they rebuild it on a regular basis, new versions etc., and it's quite impressive how hard they worked to keep it consistently abysmal.

    You think after who knows how many versions they'd have built one decent one even by accident. But no each one has been more shockingly bad than the last one.

    Just garbage.
