I hold a student current account with Bank Of Ireland.

I would like to send a cheque in US dollars to the US by post. How do I go about doing this?

    Thanks

    Hi kanadams123,

Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.

If the amount is over €500 you can purchase a US Dollar Draft in your branch however, an international transfer on 365 Online would be a much faster option. Foreign cheques/drafts can take several weeks to clear and a bank transfer goes through within 3-5 days.

    Thanks
    Tara
