Nct. Retest

    Had my car for nct last Feb and it pass as far as the lift. Because of faulty lifts, had until the 29th of march to get a free retest. After so many phone calls, it took me weeks to get a date, I managed to get a date, 20th Mar which was last Fri. Went and did the retest last Fri and it failed in which l was annoyed. Never failed for it before but got over that. It will have to be done.
    Now my problem is and its most annoying is that. I have only until the 29th of march to fix it and get retest which is this Sunday. A week only, not a month. I have gone to the garage and waiting to get a part for the car. I have rang the nct, all day to get a retest by Sunday. I failed to get through. The earliest date online is May. I will have to pay 28e for retest by the 29th of march, that l don't mind otherwise I will have to do the full test.

    I feel this is all very unfair. I have only a week to get my car fixed and to get a date before the 29th Mar, not a month which is usually happens after failing the test.

    Quote below is from their website , so you have 30 days from when second part of test was done.
    " Note that the requirement for retests to be done within a 30 day window only applies from the date that the test is done in full. So that’s when ALL parts of the test are completed."
