Simplest Replacement Remote for Vu+

    I have a Vu+ that I purchased in 2010. It's working fine but the remote is on the way out.

    My wife has always found the STB difficult to use. The buttons are small and the recordings button isn't obvious. The remote isn't as intuitive as a Sky remote for example.

    Is there a better alternative? There seems to be very mixed reviews of Logitech Harmony remotes. I only want the remote to power on/off the TV and control the STB. I don't have any other devices so providing buttons for other devices may just complicate things too.

    look on ebay but a good tip is to put proper batteries in remote ie duracell ultra power, what image have you in box?

    If the batteries are cheap the remote may not respond and then the user gets .. and presses key again and again and then gets angry, etc.

    Logitech harmony remotes are good if you want to spend a bit. One remote replaced 4 for us

    I'm buying a new LG TV with a "magic remote". Anyone get that working with a vu+?
