Automatic Gates

Hi everyone; I have a quick query about automatic gates. I opened the boxes of my gates’ motor today and found they were both filled with leaves, decomp, worms, etc. Is this going to damage the motor in the long run? Is there any better way I could insulate the box, such as sealers, etc or does that work? Regards, Aidan.

The operators will be water proof but you should clean out the box once a year and ensure the water drainage outlets are free of leaves and debris
