New to modding cars and I was wondering would the following need to be declared?

So I want to change a fiesta Zetec s Rear Diffuser (Lower Bumper) to an official Ford manufacturered Ford Fiesta ST rear diffuser.

Is that a mod since it's a stock part?

Also want to cut 30mm off my exhaust pipe so I can fit an exhaust tip on it to go with the diffuser.

I'm with AiB car insurance if that makes a difference. Read my insurance booklet and it's kind of ambiguous if those count in my opinion.

AFAIK only what is considered to be an upgrade making change of performance needs to be declared, so you're safe.

    Open to correction though. :o
