There was a downturn in my business which had nothing to do with the coronavirus and I was laid off. I was going to fill out the normal UP1 form and bring that into the INTREO office, but now I have the symptoms of the coronavirus and am waiting to be tested. I heard on the radio that people are been urged to post in the COVID-19 forms. Can I do the same with the regular UP1 form? This is my first time signing on.

If you are at home self isolating (I assume from your post you are) then your not available for full time work and you’ll have to apply for illness benefit
