Help with oki es7130 printer

had this printer for years it was fantastic, changed and put new oki cartridge and it is telling me
Toner missing
install, reset
But it is brand new, googled it and it says update firm ware
How do you do that.

see this, might help, if its anything to do with firmware in first place.
Not insisting, but you have correctly installed cartridge, have you?
