    Hi all,
Was due to fly to South Africa in three weeks time but the flights have been cancelled. I'm only being offered a voucher and not a cash refund. If the flights are cancelled, should I not be entitled to a full cash refund?
Feel like they might be trying to pull a fast one.

Defintely sounds like trying to pull a fast one.

Small claims court if you don't get any satisfaction from them.

Did you book directly with the airline?

Mrs Dodge contacted them through twitter to try and cancel flights last Monday. We had been due to fly out Friday and return Monday (London). The Friday flight was cancelled

Anyway they rang her a couple of hours later asking for details on the card we used to book the flights and confirmed they’d issue a full refund in 3/4 days time

No we haven’t received it yet but I’d definitely try the twitter route if I was you

Thanks for all the replies. Yes I booked directly with the airline. Ill try and contact via Twitter and let you know how it goes. I tried to find a relevant email to contact but can't see any so the only option is to call or Twitter at the moment.

Let me know how you get on.

I have a flight with them to the US in two weeks and they have only cancelled the London to US flight and no others therefore making it impossible to actually fly to my destination and back.

Like yourself for the cancelled flight when I click through to get a refund it brings me to a voucher application.

Booked directly so I'm right in saying I due a full refund?
