    Hi all,

I've had the above box for about 3 years now and it's worked well without any issue up to now.

However recently there was a change in frequencies for the Terrestrial channels and I now cannot receive RTE1 and a few other channels (Virgin 2 and RTE Kids and News I think).

When I go to re-scan the system tells me that it is receiving a strong signal at the two frequencies where the channels are (674Mhz and 690Mhz), but when I do a scan I briefly see RTE1 flash by , but it is never saved so I cannot watch it.

Looking around , it would seem that I have the latest firmware for the Amiko box and given that I have a strong signal in the settings for the 2 frequencies , I don't think it's the aerial.

I have the box connected to a Satellite dish and I'm using an internal Terrestrial aerial (Synaps AMD-244). I'm connecting to the Maghera mast in Clare.

Any ideas on how I might proceed?

    Thanks in advance

I am located in cork city and just bought an amiko mini combo. When I tune in channels from a new saorview aerial pointed north west I can pick up all channels including rte 1and plus 1 although there is a small freeze/ pause on these.
However, when I attempt to tune the box using an older aerial which seems to be pointed the same way I can't get a few channels as per the previous post.
I had changed the settings to "GERMAN" on both occasions.
    Any ideas please.??

Try deleting all the saorview channels as well as any blank entries on the channel list first and then do a terrestrial scan.
