Notice period requirements - long term tenants

    Hi.

I have long term tenants, and unfortunately may need to sell my house (Tenants are great, but aren't in position to buy from me).

    -Original lease 2012
    -New lease (November 2016)

For required notice period, did their tenancy start in 2012 or 2016?

-I think the 2016 was part of a new 'part 4' lease at the time, so the tenancy started in 2016 and the 4 years is up in November 2020?

And if i don't sell immediately, i have to give a new part 4 cycle starting in Nov '20 (which will now be up to 6 years?)
Can i then give notice during this new period, and if so, how much?

So in summary, what is my current and future notice periods i am required to give them? And can I?

    Many thanks.
