Holiday booked

    Have a 2 week holiday planned since Christmas for me and my partner booked for last 2 weeks of July, to albufeira Portugal. Only have the accommodation booked yet, and have been holding out on the flights to see how this COVID-19 will pan out. But the problem is unbelievably the flights seem to be getting more expensive and booking faster. I have until end of June to cancel accommodation for free. I know it's months away but what are the chances of this virus going into decline by then?

    My advice is to postpone it till next year as only be stressed trying to go this year

    Looking at Asia you would assume the virus will start to abate around 2 months so say 6 weeks time - however that's an estimate.

    That would also just be the start of downgrading some measures brought in like closures etc.

    Problem is airlines will struggle to get their full schedules up and running on time so there could be huge demand hence the prices.
