Vue is open but judging by the over whelming NO in the poll I will give it a miss

You may well have the place virtually to yourself, so it's a yes

Keep your space, wash, wash again and wash after touching anything.

Coronavirus has put a whole new spin on that issue where people ignore whole rows in front or behind you and somehow decide to pick the seat beside you. An act of war nowadays!

I went to Vue on Sunday, only 10 people in the screen, interacted with one member of staff. I'm not saying you should go but you'll probably interact with more people going to the super market or walk than going to the cinema at the moment.

id have more respect for cinemas that stay open at this time, there is no need for them to close. they would be important for keeping people from boredom.

I'd have more respect for people who don't need to be told that it's stupid idea to go to a cinema at the moment.

As for boredom, well that's a clear symptom of a lazy mind.

I voted yes. But I could easily have said no.

The answer is it depends. I can go to my local Odeon tomorrow morning and there might be only one other person in the cinema. Cinemas aren't selling every seat. They are leaving empty seats between seats.

Personally I'd have no problem going early in the day when it's empty. I wouldn't go when it's even slightly busy. The first sound of coughing and I'd be running out of the place.

Tomorrow morning 10s of thousands of people will be crammed into buses, DART & Luas. The same people will do this twice a day every day. Some will have voted no in this poll. All have a higher chance of catching or spreading the virus than me in an empty cinema.

Things like this don't have a right & wrong answer. You assess each situation on its own merits. You try use common sense everywhere you go.

Ideally only do things outdoors that you can be apart from others for at least 1.5m distance.

If you wish to go for a walk with a family member that's fine. But really you need large spaces and clean ones.

Yeah, we're going to see Ferris Bueller tomorrow night, Back To The Future on Thursday and Joker on Friday.

Sod all else to do. Can't wait.

Has to be a good few of you going though, as otherwise it would work out quite expensive:
