Amazon prime v Netflix or ?

Hi with not a lot to do at the moment I am thinking of getting Netflix or amazon prime but of course I don’t know the difference.
I do have sky basic and do not have a smart tv but have google chrome.
I do like thrillers and good films so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great

Netflix give you a month's free trial. Amazon I think is 7 days.

Get both and decide which one to keep.

For TV, Netflix all day long. Prime TV/video is no comparison. That said, it’s technically free while Netflix is not (if you shop a fair bit on amazon, the sub pays for itself with free postage)

Depending on your views on piracy, Chromecast and Android phone plus one of the many streaming apps out there, (which can't be discussed on boards, try reddit) and you can have all the series and films they offer, plus loads more, for free.

But on less grey area note, I think there are loads of good TV series on Amazon now and neither Amazon or Netflix tie you into a contract so you could try a month of one or the other. Now tv might be an option too, though don't know if you can use chromecast with them.
