How often to change pollen filter and brake fluid?

C Class needs A service again and wondering if pollen filter and break fluid needs to be replaced yearly?
This is what I got quote for and it's costing 400 euros.

2 years i think is the recommended for brake fluid but many go longer than that.

Brake fluid every 2 years. Pollen/cabin filter depends on city or motorway use. I would change filter yearly if city use mostly.

I do around 20,000 kms annually. 15000 km motorway and 5000 km city driving.

Pollen filter change is almost double price. And I changed it last year along with brake fluids.

I will wait for next year service to change pollen + brake fluids.

Just buy a cabin filter in a motor factors.

Pollen filter should be DIY.

If its Mahle or Knecht they even have a diagram on the inside of the box for fitting.

I'd wager that 90% of 10 year old cars on the road in Ireland have 8-10 year old brake fluid. Brake fluid change just isn't a done thing outside the dealer network, which is a bit mental.

Slap new discs and pads on and top up the fluid if low, off they go with a clean bill of health.

Personally what i do is use 1L of fluid when doing a pad change and bleed some off at each wheel.

I think the pollen filter in C class is located behind the dash board and requires certain skills. Correct me if I am wrong
