    1. I am experiencing low water pressure which is affecting my internal appliances. Can you please help?

    Irish Water is responsible for the public water supply network which directly connects to your home from the cold kitchen tap. If supply to your cold kitchen tap is affected, please PM us with the following information and we will look into this for you.

    - Your full name;
    - Your full address (including County & Eircode);
    - Your contact number; and
    - Are your neighbours also affected?

    If the supply to your cold kitchen tap is unaffected; this may indicate that this matter is occurring internally and therefore outside of Irish Water’s remit to resolve. In this instance, we would recommend that you contact a qualified plumber to investigate and conduct any necessary repair works.

    2. Can I turn off my own water supply?

    You can turn off your water supply to your home from the outside stop valve, if safe to do so. It is usually located next to the water meter attached to your property or outside your driveway. You can also switch off the supply to your cold kitchen tap if you have an internal stop valve. This is typically located underneath the sink and it is a valve/leaver.

    3. We are experiencing delays with a new connection for our newly built house; can you please help?

    If your name is on this application, please provide the following details via PM and a member of our team can help you with this.

    - Full name;
    - Full address;
    - Contact number; and
    - New connection reference number.

    4. I have lost the water supply to my cold kitchen tap. What is happening

    We recommend that you check our supply and service updates page here to see if there are any works ongoing in your area. If there are no known outages; can you provide the below details via PM and a member of our team will look into this further for you?

    - Name;
    - Contact number;
    - Full address, including Eircode; and
    - If your neighbours are affected.

    5. There were works completed by Irish Water and a temporary reinstatement was put in place. This has partially collapsed and is a trip hazard. Can you help?
