I had booked a few nights in Waterford in a hotel this weekend. I am still inclined to go as the hotel have sent us an email on all the measures they are taking social distancing/ sanitizing regularly etc.
    Would you still go??

    No

I really hope this is a bored teenager on the wind-up....

    No.

I wouldn't be going anywhere at the moment, even within Ireland. Things are changing so drastically, who knows what the situation will be like by the weekend. I wouldn't even be able to enjoy a holiday right now, I'd be too worried.

You have every politician, doctor, leader, expert, on radio and TV, absolutely pleading with every citizen to heed the warnings and isolate themselves as much as possible in order to stem the spread of the virus - and you're wondering if you should go to a hotel for the weekend?

I'm not sure who I'd be madder at, you or the hotel tbh - but that question is so far out there in today's climate (never mind where we might be by the weekend) that you'll forgive me for thinking it might be someone amusing themselves from the boredom.....

That's the problem with being in "de Nile" .. lots of predators. :) Sorry couldnt resist.

Way away with the family last week self catering. We generally avoided people. The house had probably been vacant before we arrived, wouldn't have liked staying there after we checked out.
