It might be useful to have a thread for the region dedicated to any closures and event cancellations imposed to try and stop the spread of the virus.
Obviously we have the main ones such as:

Schools and childcare facilities closed from this evening

All masses in the diocese of Tuam cancelled

All GAA matches and training cancelled at all levels

    St Patrick's Day Parades cancelled

    All domestic rugby cancelled

All libraries, museums and community facilities run by Mayo CoCo closed

Also there will be businesses and smaller events closed/cancelled and postponed

Wilde River Drama Group play to run in Ballinrobe from 19/3-21/3 has been postponed
J Gibbons & Co, Accountants, Cross - offices closed. Customers are asked to make contact by phone/email
    Mayo Hospice Shops closed
Cain Coleman Colour Run in Claremorris due to take place 22nd March is postponed
Music Generation Mayo - Classes cancelled

Feel free to add to the list please:)

Thread with events still going ahead might be more interesting...

Plenty of weddings still going on. I know one couple who tried to cancel but hotel said they'd have to pay full whack.

Gardai in Castlebar ordered pubs to close at 12 last night....

Edited to say that it was from a publican in town that posted it to Facebook

Westport and Castlebar, plenty of pubs posting on Facebook that they are closing until at least the 29th in line with HSE guidelines.

Would be easier to list the ones that haven't closed in the next couple of days!

Not connected and not a closure but worthy of a mention. Danolla's in Castlebar offering free food to any frontline workers, they're also offering free delivery to OAPs and will pick up groceries/pharmacy for them. Great gestures.

Don't know but I'd presume so as it was a national decision rather than a local decision. The one beside Harvey Norman is closed anyway.

I think all Costas are now closed.
