2009 Audi A6. Should it have a spare tyre?

    I am looking at an 2009 Audi A6 and one thing I noticed was that it didn't have a spare tyre. When I ask about this the garage said they don't come with spare tyres? Is that correct?

    So what happens if you have a puncture, I have a load recently.

    Buy a spare and fit it yourself, you may find that you have to fit a spacesaver not a full size wheel but its still better than a compressor and a bottle of goo.

    Many cars doesn't have a spare tyre, it's isn't something new.
    Get tyre gunk, or roadside assistance.

    It should have originally came with a spare wheel, with some of them the spare wheel was another full size alloy wheel. If it's not there then chances are it probably went missing over the last 11 years or so. Could have been buckled beyond repair, stolen or sold. Find one from a crashed car in a breaker's yard. Also look up the wheel fitment size as it might be shared with other models in the VAG range.
