    Hi,
Just looking for a little advice please.

I had a HP Note book which I had been using for the last few years mainly for surfing and the odd word document. It needed to be updated to Windows 10
but now I've damaged the screen.

I have a good few personal documents saved on the HP (Word, excel and Pdf) to which I occasional need access. Previously I could retrieve the document and then email it to my work laptop as needed.(I have a very good work laptop will a full MS office package but I'm reluctant to put too much personal data on it)

I don't want to outlay too much cash Max €250 but I need a way of accessing the documents on the old HP and I can't transfer all documents to my work laptop. The HP was 9yrs old.

I was thinking of purchasing a secondhand laptop for €200+ with MS office pre-loaded and just transferring all data but I've seen an offer in a local store for a New Ideal Pad Slim 1 with MS Office 365, AMD A4-9120e Processor, Intergrated AMD Radeon R3 Graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB HD, HD display for €229

Its primarily for surfing with the odd bit of word, no special requirements for size, speakers, screen etc.

Which would be better or is there an alternative that I've missed?

As you've probably guessed I'm not savvy in this regard

    Thanks in advance.
