Because someone was supplying V codes for free I guess.

Also, mods have no powers/extra responsibilities outside of their own forums.

The original statement to not ask for V codes came from the fact that they weren’t freely available at the time, and it was a bit repetitive (as you’ll remember) telling them where they could be had.
