Dr Martens Boots Leather Peeling or Flaking

    Has anyone else experienced the leather in Dr. Martens boots peeling or flaking ?
    I have worn Dr. Martens since the 80's and never had a problem with the leather until now. Shop claims its wear and tear but the damage is all over the boots and in areas that wear and tear would not usually take place.
