Newstalk seems particularly bad this morning, fading in and out sounding like a distant AM channel.

    Anyone else getting this?

EDIT: No problem on the internet stream.

Regularly get that up here (north midlands) when its anyway windy. Sounds like the link antennas moving about. Their satellite feed still has issues too. However does their engineering should be embarrassed, if not fired.

It is the satellite feed I was listening to that had fades this morn.
Switched to internet streaming and no such problems at all.

I've noticed that for a while on their sat feeds. Seems particularly bad early in the morning. I used to use NT as my alarm from 07:00 but stopped because of this.
The weather related one is on 107.4 which I think is somewhere in Cavan or that direction. When stormy it gets very erratic.

This seems to be an issue with their satellite stream, on and off, for a number of years. There were other posters that commented on this very issue before too, then it remedies for a while.

Not sure what their issue is, but you'd think that they'd have a grasp on it by now.

Anyone have issues with listening to Newstalk on their phones this morning? Each time I start playing, it goes to the same section of the Pat Kenny Show. Doesn't matter if I refresh the site.

Yep it's the same on the Radioplayer app and the Newstalk website on mobile so it's an issue on their side, having to listen to RTE1 unfortunately

The painful thing is that the loop I'm listening to is Bob Geldof talking about his youth anger.

Thats the one I got, I got through it 4/5 times before realising it was the app looping because he can go on a bit so didn't write it off the first or second time

No news talk on 106fm this morning, internet is fine, but not on the radio.

    I’m listening to it.

Taking Stock talking about quiet quitting in the workplace.

We don’t drag up old threads, won’t take long for someone to point out that it’s not on satellite any more.
