So having waited until I was after 30 to get valid insurance on a jap import Toyota altezza now I am unable to get a quote for VRT as it’s disappeared from the online revenue calculator.
I have found one I like which is on Northern Ireland plates and has test but I have no idea how much it will cost to change into Ireland plates.
Has anyone gone through the process recently? I know the nox charge will likely add upto €600 to price but has anyone a ball park figure? The similar is200 was €720 for a long time.

My friend done one in late 2018 and it was €2100. Expect similar plus €600 NoX.

Hi @weekaizer I'm looking at importing an Altezza from Goo-Net Japan and trying to get a handle on costs, came across this post. How much did the VRT cost you in the end?

What auction site did you use to find it also?
