    Hi all. When text notification comes in , it normally shows first line of text but these days it just says unread. This is very annoying so any input is appreciated. Cheers Kevin .

    What phone/version of Android have you? Have you recently updated the messages app?

    There is an option in settings to hide message content on the notification tab. Make sure this is not enabled.
