In my defense.. the trailer is decent, says Mario Kassar and points out he's one of the producers of Total Recall, Rambo and Terminator

and you know what, that checks out.. PLUS I remember that his name is the first name in the opening credits of Terminator 2!

    Trailer:

    IMDB:
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt08948208/

    Anyway..
Brain at the door on the way in .. but for an dodgy, hard sci-fi, extremely violent action flick, this had moments. Nothing to write home about and I kinda went in expecting something like a running man style film and to some extent it had something like that.

I found it's Indonesian wiki page here:
    https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foxtrot_Six
Says it was made for "Rp 70 Miliar" which converts to around €4.5 million. Not bad considering what they delivered in terms of set pieces, action and special effects.

Oh, and it seemed not bad for what looks like a director/writer debut by Randy Korompis
    https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3814248/

    Spoilers from here:

I think it must have been the action/sci-fi ideas it had that were it's best moments. Felt like there was:
    - predator references (invisibily, jungle, mini-guns)
    - mechwarrior/iron-man (exoskeleton mini gun)
    - godzilla 1 (the parachute jump scene)
    - the gathering of the group.. kinda felt a bit like a nod to the magnificent 7

For cons, and the film definitely had cons, I think the bits that jumped out were the not great inter-character dialogues.. the lacklustre baddies, some of the more daft (.. dafter) parts of the action scenes and some of the CG not being great.

    Oh!
    • There's a mid-credits scene (serious)
    • There's also an end-credits scene (funny)
