I have a problem connecting to my printer on WiFi. My old Fujisu connects to it but it has a broken screen. my newer Dell wont find my Epson XP605 printer and the printer only shows the old laptop. I have looked at the settings on my Dell and they seem right. It must be the laptop as the WiFi on the printer is working. I have the Epson installation CD loaded on both laptops.

How old is that installation CD? You might be better off downloading the drivers from Epson’s website to make sure everything is up to date.

    You'll need the driver - (this for a 64 bit Windows 10)

Also.....there is an app on Google Play for Android Phones. Works well.

maybe I'm missing something but it's wifi in question here, not bluetooth?

my suggestion would be to use the cable connected to laptop to reset up the printer on the wifi network

    True!

Although some do both over lan and/or bluetooth.

I'd imagine that its a simple question of running the right driver in compatibility mode. I have one of these printers myself. I found the android app a lot easier to be honest, but cannot remember too many difficulties setting it up on the laptop.

Infact just looking at my printers on the laptop. And its there. OP - type printers in the bottom search bar beside windows start and see is it showing up ? There is an option then to troubleshoot it.
