I have a massey 165. The battery is located directly under the steering wheel. The battery is larger than the battery cover. Does anyone know how to remove it?

    Wet Day🙄

You take off one of the red side panels and pull it out the side.

I might be able to remove part of the left side panel. Some of it is on the inside of the cab with the rest on the outside.

Not a very well designed tractor.

    Yes that's how it's done.
Tractor was designed as a foot plate tractor (ie without a cab). It was a well designed simple farmers tractor for it's time, however not much thought was put into the cabs.
