ICBF and BGDP Eligibility

    Im looking at heifers tomorrow - I have to buy dry heifers for the BGDP Scheme

    Can I key the heifer number into ICBF before I buy to see what star is the heifer

    As far as I know, only if the owner is in the genomics scheme (BDGP) or in HerdPlus.

    Tag number alone won’t do !

    There heard needs to be on herdplus for you to see the cattle details.

    The tag number would do then under the animal search function.

    I'm in the BDGP but not in HerdPlus. I can see my heifers when I input the tag number into ICBF search without being logged on.
    I'm certain of that. Just did it there now.
