    I have a fireplace with 16" (40cm) hearth.
It tapers back to about 12" (30cm) at the back of the hearth.

I'm looking for an electric insert fire to place in the hearth.
I can't find any suitable as my fireplace surround has a canopy hood an top which blocks sliding a full size electruc fire in.

There are many electric fires but they push into the space - that will not work with my fireplace.

Anybody every seen any for sale anywhere?

My fireplace is like this one

I have found one that I think will fit but, in my opinion, it a crazy price for what you get...£240 Sterling + postage........doesn't look very realistic and would prefer something more realistic looking.
